Breed:Yorkshire Terrier
Name:Duda
Her Breed History:Yorkshire Terriers were bred in 19th century England from a mixture of Scottish Terriers: Clydesdale, Skye, Paisley and Waterside Terriers; and were used by miners near Yorkshire to catch rats that had infested the mines. They also came in handy as hunting dogs, able to chase foxes, badgers and other small animals into their burrows. Over the years they were bred smaller, soon becoming fashionable pets and dog show standouts.
The ultra long, fine, silky coat parts along the spine and falls straight down on either side. It is steal blue on the body and tail, and tan elsewhere. The tail is usually docked to half its length. If the dogs are not for showing, the owners usually go for the shaggy look. The Yorkie has a flat head, medium-sized length muzzle, a black nose, and regular teeth. The eyes are extremely vivacious and the ears are v-shaped, erect or semi-erect. Its limbs are straight with round feet and black nails. The hair on the head is so abundant that it is almost always necessary to gather it in a band to keep from going into the dog's food bowl and to give the animal maximum visibility.
She is highly energetic, brave, loyal and clever. Duda is truly a sweet little dog who need owners who understand how to give them gentle leadership. I really love Duda, she is already a member of the family and I believe that dogs are the man's best friend!
"The great pleasure of a dog is that you may makea fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you,but he will make a fool of himself too."- Samuel Butler
